Fifty Portraits for Oli.
This is another Portrait in this series It is a much loved pet who has past on so I was given four or five photos to work from. I hope they can see their much loved pet in the work. I took as the main source a pose that suggested to me what the dog's character might be, then used the other photos for added reference .

So I was deactivated on my blog because I am did not write on the site for sixty days. Perhaps I am a slow writer or thinker ,it seems to me that we are expected to do more than think. As a painter I tend to do scribles and drawings while I look for inspiration however I am moving house and It has become a nightmare, we had a cash buyer? This turned out to be a illusion as cash mentioned was tied up in two other houses with a mortgage on each so there were complications, we are still waiting. In the process we have lost the house we had chosen as the vendors dropped out of the market, having found another property to buy we are still waiting for movement on our buyers mortgage to proceed.
Having packed up most of the house and my studio its a bit like living in a cardboard box as most things are ready to go on a van but the inertia of the move has left my wife and I in limbo so I thought might try to activate my blog
